Our Saturday Afternoon

I noticed that I haven't written a blog post in about a month now. To be honest, I don't really know what to write about these days...

Other than Mark working back in the Miami office as the branch's Sales Director, not a lot of news. We are all doing well and excited that the Fall is here!  We will be trying to make it up to the FSU v Maryland game in Tallahassee in 2 weeks. Hopefully we can make it and see some good friends up there.

Ava updates: she is a super fast crawler, she had her first fall the other week which turned out to be nothing (just a swollen lip), and she just learned how to wave "bye bye." She is at a really cute age right now that I want to bottle up and keep forever. She does these little things like tap my face and when I make a funny noise saying "no no no!" she just laughs and does it again... And again and again. Laughing the whole time.  How can you not love that?! ;)

As far as today goes, it was one of those really great afternoons- simple yet fun :) I wanted us to get out, get some sun, and walk around before the FSU game started later. Mark took us down down to Dania pier to see where the new Quarterdeck is- looks great!!! Great job, Flanigan family!

After that, we headed down to the Hollywood boardwalk to stroll and grab some drinks and fish tacos down there. I think we found a new beach spot.

We really liked how many restaurants and bars with live music were {right next} to the ocean. (Plus, parking was super easy!)

Cruisin' with "Bayba"

Everyone got a kick out of her sunglasses. (Our daughter's favorite thing is: sunglasses! Usually she LOVES to chew on them more than any toy she has. (I usually always keep 1 or 2 pairs in my purse for her)
Today she appreciated them a lot more in the sunshine and actually left them on.

At the "Taco Spot" eating some lunch

Entertained by chewing on her velcro toy strap while mama ate lunch. Such a good baby. Always content.

I foresee bringing our FSU tent down here and spending the day in the near future.

Now to head home where A will have a long nap and we will watch the FSU game at 6! Go Noles.

  2. Ava is super cute! I think she's around the same age as Kennedy. Kennedy was born 11-28-12. Oh and so random but was scrolling down at some of your other posts and we use veganaise too! My parents are vegan and they got us hooked on it. My husband does not eat healthy at all but he even says it tastes the same. :)
